Rectangular path vase

This nifty rectangular raku vase features a meandering path created by repeated impression of a specially carved tool. Smoking the unglazed surface during the raku firing process then completes this accent design. The path is then accentuated by surrounding it with a rich aqua crackle glaze. The rim of the vase is further textured giving the piece a look at once both rustic and timeless.
