Peg

Wall plaques represent a unique and wonderful departure from my traditional work. I created richly textures panels followed by a bunch of pegs, shards and disks. After a couple of days of firings, I spread everything out on the worktable and composed a series of fun ceramic collages. This piece features saggar fired panels, black glazed pegs and is mounted on a reclaimed antique slate roofing tile.
