Cylindrical Coral Vase

This lovely vase features contrasting surfaces of rich aqua and white crackle glaze surrounding a hand-punched coral texture. Like much of my work, this piece marries sleek design and meticulous attention to artisan craftsmanship. Pressing four round-tipped rods of different diameters randomly into the damp clay produces the coral texture. When the spacing is just right, the resulting effect is captivating.
