Cobalt Luster Button Vase

What began as a studio demonstration project quickly became one of my trademark designs. Using one of my hand-made embossment stamps, I carefully press it repeatedly to form a row of button-like textures. Placing a drop of glaze on each button sets them off nicely. I just have to make sure that the drop stays put during firing and happiness abounds.
