The raku process is all about painting with fire and few pieces capture the moment of creation better than this fantastic, rectangular tall vase. This piece was placed in the kiln in an unusual position, right next to the burner, and thus allowed the flame to interact with its glazes. A vivid study in copper and emerald with my stained glass applique adorning the front.
