Found Object Pencil Box

I always think of a pencil when I make these boxes. The peaked top and overhanging bottom plates remind me of the point and eraser. Playful glazes, nifty stepped feet, a carved gallery band and a finial made from the remains of a conch shell scavenged from the beach make this piece a unique treasure.
